STEMSkills is a non-governmental for profit organization that aims to teach and propagate skills related to science technology engineering and mathematics (STEM) in order to bridge the gap that currently exists between schooling and empowerment. This initiative stems from the obvious lack of skills needed to do a successful research by students or skills needed to do a job by graduates. The advent of technology in the 21st century has led to the automation of many jobs and employers are continuously demanding skilled graduates as against an excellent academic result which was the only criteria in the past.

Given this gap which we have identified, we at STEMSkills therefore aim to bridge it by the following objectives.

1. Organize trainings, workshops, conferences, and seminars on STEM skills.

2. Provide guidance for application procedures for grants, internships and scholarships

3. Develop STEM curriculum for schools

4. Provide STEM mentorship on education and careers

5) Establishment and propagation of STEM entrepreneurship
