Did you know that the brain behind modern day computers is Alan Turing?

.

So who was

?

Quick one:

Alan Turing is considered the father of modern day computer science because he formed the concept of algorithms and computations with the Turing machine, one of his inventions. Born to English parents, Alan Turing in 1936, as a Doctoral student at Princeton University published a paper on "Computable Numbers, with an application to the Entscheidungs Problem” which formed the basis of everything computer which we now enjoy. So the next time you pick up your phone, your tablet or your laptop, remember it was all from one man's idea.
